War 2

Action and suspense fans have a reason to cheer: ‘War 2’, the sequel to the 2019 hit, is now available in Telugu. Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR headline this spy action thriller that is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film follows Kabir Dhaliwal. He is a former RAW agent gone rogue. And his dangerous actions threaten national security. Enter Vikram Chelapathi, a special units officer with a complicated past with Kabir. Now it’s his task to stop him.

The film has performances of Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in a cameo. Streaming begins October 9, 2025 on Netflix.

Mirai

Teja Sajja takes center stage in ‘Mirai’, a fantasy action adventure that promises thrills and magic. Set in a world where ancient holy scriptures hold unimaginable power, the story follows Vedha. He is an orphan with a destiny bigger than himself.

According to prophecy, Vedha must train to become a super warrior. He also needs to stop the villainous Mahabir Lama, known as The Black Sword from plunging the world into chaos.

The cast includes Manchu Manoj, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, and Shriya Saran. Rana Daggubati makes a cameo. The film promises an adventure full of battles, mystery, and and what not. You can stream it on JioHotstar starting October 10, 2025.

Kurukshetra

Netflix’s ‘Kurukshetra’, now in Telugu, brings the legendary 18-day war of the Mahabharata to life.

Originally a Hindi animated series, the nine-episode epic delves into the minds of 18 warriors. It aims to explore their moral dilemmas, in addition to their personal struggles, and the conflicts that shaped the battlefield.

Created by Anu Sikka, the series provides a fresh, immersive perspective on one of India’s most revered epics. Streaming begins October 10, 2025.

Jayammu NishchayammuRaa

‘Jayammu NishchayammuRaa’ brings Telugu cinema stars closer to fans through absolutely candid conversations. Hosted by veteran actor Jagapathi Babu, the talk show has already seen appearances from stars like Nagarjuna, Nani, and Naga Chaitanya. The upcoming episode features Keerthy Suresh as the special guest.

The show runs for approximately one hour. It is streaming on ZEE5 from October 10, 2025.

Tribanadhari Barbarik

‘Tribanadhari Barbarik’ is a suspense thriller that blends mythological symbolism with modern detective storytelling. Sathyaraj stars as Dr. Shyam Khatu. He is a retired psychiatrist turned vigilante after his granddaughter Nidhi goes missing. With the police investigation stalled, he must navigate the dangerous world of organized crime. He goes on to eventually confront a mysterious young man named Ram.

Directed by Mohan Srivatsa, the film draws inspiration from Barbarik of the Mahabharata. The cast includes Vasishta N. Simha, Satyam Rajesh, Udaya Bhanu, and Meghana Sunil. Streaming on SunNXT from October 10, 2025.
